Laboratory Team:

There are staffs of 43 persons, among which there are 18 professors and 16 associate professors, there are 20 graduated from Phd. and 23 from MD.

Research Area:

1.causing mechanism of flood and waterlogged disaster and protecting and reducing disaster countermeasure in Dongting Lake basin.

2.the sustainable use of land resources of typical areas in Dongting Lake basin.

3.regional response and trend forecast of environment change in Dongting Lake basin.

4.ecological recovery and plant resources use in Dongting Lake basin.

5.Urban-rural plan and regional sustainable development.

Research Achievement:

At the past 3 years, 147 theses, 8 academic works, 7 teaching books were published, over 200 research papers were written. There are 50 theses being published in nation grade journals and SCI, EI, ISTP source magazines.
