Li Dazhi



Li    Dazhi was born in Linli County, Hunan Province, in November 1959. He's a    Ph. D, second-grade professor, Ph. D program supervisor and vice president    of Hunan Normal University.

Education    Background

1977,    BS in Hunan University

1982,    MS in Solid Mechanics, Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering College, Hunan    University

1986,    DE in Solid Mechanics, College of Aerospace Engineering, Nanjing University    of Aeronautics and Astronautics (then Nanjing Aeronautical Institute)

1995-1996,    s ponsored by then National Education Committee Overseas Visit Project for    Young and Middle-aged Technicians, Visiting Professor in Massachusetts    Institute of Technology, USA

     

Work Experience    

1998,    full professor

1992-1999,    deputy director of Dean's office, Director of Dean's office in Hunan    University

July    1997, member of College Council and Vice Dean of Yueyang Normal College    (now Hunan Institute of Science and Technology)

Jan. 2002,    dean and deputy director of College Council of Changde Normal College (now    Hunan University of Arts and Science)

2004,    winner of Special Government Allowance granted by the    Sate Council

April    2008, member of University Council and Vice President of Hunan Normal    University.

Since    2008, director of China Institute of Higher Education, deputy director of    Hunan Mechanical Engineering Society and director of Applied Mechanics    Committee, deputy director of Hunan Society of Theoretical and Applied    Mechanics, deputy director of Hunan Management Science Society, standing    director of National Photography Society, c hairman    of Hunan Photography Society

Achievements    in the fields of Solid Mechanics, Composite Material and NVH (noise,    vibration, harshness)

Chief    scientist in a project of National Natural Science Foundation of China,    participant in 5 National and Provincial research projects

Chief    editor of two textbooks and author of over 50 theses in both domestic and    international academic journals

Organizing    researcher of 2 National Standards issued and implemented as the national    and industrial standards
