On the afternoon of July 20th, Jiang Hongxin, President of HNU met Zhou Fan, the International Programs Manager at Edinburgh Napier University. Both parties exchanged ideas on Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation.
Jiang extended his welcome to Zhou’s visit. He looked back on the time when he led a research group on a visit to Edinburgh Napier University this June. In an effort to enhance the multi-tiered and wide-ranging communication among HNU and universities in Britain, the group aimed at constructing universities under the “Double First-Class” Initiative conducted by Ministry of Education. He conveyed his hope to have cooperative items elaborated. To boost exchanges and deepen communication, Jiang sincerely invited faculty members at Edinburgh Napier University to participate in HNU’s celebration of its 80th anniversary.
Zhou Fan expressed her expectation to deepen communication and exchanges with HNU. She also had a detailed discussion about the Credit Transfer and Accumulation System of graduate and post-graduate exchange programs with the management at Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, College of Commerce, and Shuda College of HNU. They achieved an accordance in terms of procedures and work schedule.
