The Delegation from the Frostburg State University Headed by John Bowman Paid a Visit to Hunan Normal University

On the afternoon of September 26th, John Bowman, acting vice president of international and government affairs in the Frostburg State University, with two of his colleagues visited Hunan Normal University.

Jiang Xinmiao, vice president of Hunan Normal University, met with the representatives. The two sides reached a consensus in enhancing mutual understanding and friendship, strengthening exchanges, and deepening cooperation between the two schools.

Before the meeting, the delegation and Tang Jianwen, director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, had discussed a lot in cooperating in International affairs of more different forms and in different field.

The delegation also visited the Business College of Hunan Normal University. Li Jun, dean of the Business College, introduced the basic situation of the college and showed expectation of participating in international exchanges and cooperation. Both sides agreed to cooperate in 2 + 2, 3 + 1, MBA, and other projects.

HNU has established partnership with the FSU since 2008, and both sides have maintained good ties. Hunan Normal University would send exchange students to Frostburg State University every year, and the FSU has sent many teachers and students to visit Hunan Normal University for many times.

This is Acting Vice President John Bowman’s 8th time to visit Hunan Normal University. The visit was accompanied by Sudhir, Singh, acting director of the Business College in Frostburg State University, and accounting professor Bao Yan.
