On the morning of June 28th, the opening ceremony of 2018 Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp of the Confucius Institute at Wonkwang University &Kazan Federal University was held at Room 111, International College of Chinese Language and Culture. Vice President of Hunan Normal University, Li Dazhi participated in the ceremony which was presided over by Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation office, Li Miao.  

Li Dazhi delivered a welcome speech and presented the camp flag to student representatives. He welcomed the students and faculties of the Confucius Institute at Wonkwang University and Kazan Federal University. Li said, the Confucius Institutes have been dedicated in spreading Chinese culture and deepening intercultural communication since their establishment. He hoped that students would know more about Chinese language and have a better and deeper understanding of Chinese culture through this summer camp. By the end of his speech, Li hoped that the campers will learn something and wished the event every success.

Tang Xiuli，Deputy Director of International College of Chinese Language and Culture, made a brief introduction to the purpose and significance of the summer camp.

Chen Mingshu, the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute at Wonkwang University, and Yi Yanping, the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute at Kazan Federal University, introduced the achievements of their respective colleges. Both of them wished that students could devote themselves to the two-week summer camp and enjoy a wonderful journey.  

Representatives of the camp from the two Confucius Institutes spoke respectively.

Relevant persons in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation office and the International College of Chinese Language and Culture, and teachers’ representatives were also presented at the opening ceremony.
