On the morning of June 19th, the research and training delegation of elementary and middle school principals  from the Confucius Institute at Wonkwang University and education officials of Korea visited HNU.Vice president of HNU, Li Dazhi extended a warm reception to the guests at the meeting room of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. Vice Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Li Miao presided over the meeting.  

Li Dazhi warmly welcomed the delegation. Looking back on the exchange and cooperation between the two universities since the establishment of the Confucius Institute at Wonkwang University, he says, the Confucius Institute has been playing a positive role in promoting educational, economic and trade exchange and cooperation, as well as in spreading Chinese culture. He wished that the visit could serve as an opportunity to deepen Iksan education circle's understanding of HNU and China's primary and secondary education, and at the same time, to promote Sino-South Korea educational cooperation and communication.

Director-General of Iksan Education Support Department, Li Zhuling expressed his acknowledgement for HNU's warm reception. He praised HNU's strength on running a university. He said, HNU's school motto, "Being humane, caring, excellent and industrious" has something in common with education ideas of South Korea. He expected two universities to have more exchange and cooperation in future, by which both China and South Korea could see better and greater development in education..  

Chinese president of the Confucius Institute, Chen Mingshu gave a brief introduction to the key programs of the institute.

It is the second time that HNU has organized the visit of the delegation. The delegation has paid an official visit for inspection or investigation in Shenzhen. Later on, they will visit the High School Attached to Hunan Normal University.

The delegation and persons in charge of relevant units in HNU attended the meeting.
