Yu Zhuang Heads a Delegation from Vermont Law School to Visit Law School of HUNNU

On the morning of July 5, a meeting for exchange and cooperation with Vermont Law School was held in Law School of Hunan Normal University at its meeting room 304.

  

Yu Feng, Party Secretary of the Law School of HUNNU, extended his warm welcome to Dr. Yu Zhuang, Assistant Director of the U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law at VLS, and briefed the delegation on HUNNU and its Law School.  

  

Li Ainian, Vice Dean of Law School of HUNNU, introduced the discipline development of environmental law, including the faculty, personnel training, scientific research, service to the local areas in promoting the rule of law, and international academic exchanges. He also offered advice on the future academic exchanges as well as the fields and ways of cooperation with VLS.  

  

Ou Fuyong, professor of HUNNU, shared his views about exchanging postgraduates between two schools.   

  

Yu Zhuang said that VLS is famous for its teaching and research related to environmental law. She then introduced the development of environmental law in VLS, its curriculum and relevant research programs of the environmental tax, water and justice, energy and environment, etc.

  

The meeting was also attended by Wen Tongai and Xiao Ai, associate professors of environmental law, and some postgraduates majoring in Environmental and Resources Protection Law in HUNNU.
