From June 26th to 30th, the delegation lead by Jiang Xinmiao, vice president of Hunan Normal University, was invited to visit Kazan Federal University, Kazan State Conservatory and Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory in Russia.

In the morning of 27th, Laddboff, vice president of Kazan Federal University, presided over a welcome ceremony for our delegation. The delegation visited the main campus and the school history museum. Both sides engaged in discussions and reached a full consensus on various fields, such as communication of key disciplines, key laboratory cooperation, establishment of young scholar associationand the short-term exchange of experts during winter and summer vacations. In the afternoon, the delegation paid a visit to the Confucius Institute co-founded by Hunan Normal University and Kazan Federal University. Li Lanyi, Chinese dean of the institute, and Zaynulin, Russian dean of the institute briefed the delegation on the teaching situation of the Confucius Institute.Jiang Xinmiao acknowledged the plentiful achievements and wished it a more prosperous future so as to set a model for the two countries in educational cooperation.            

In the next two days, the delegation visited Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory and received a warm welcome from Callasnogonova, vice president of the conservatory. The two sides held the Second Joint Administrative Committee Conference for Cooperation in Education. President Jiang introduced the educational cooperation program of the first year in aspects of student cultivation, teacher construction, teaching organization, project management and social evaluation. Philtelimeistel, president of the conservatory, Ulialova and Callasnogonova, vice presidents of the conservatory, all spoke highly of the program implementation. The two sides had an in-depth exchange and reached a consensus on issues of the process of teacher dispatch, wages, student exchange, requirements of postgraduate recommendation and exchange visits of young teachers.   ‍

On 28th, Jiang Xinmiao held a meeting with Abdullin, president of Kazan State Conservatory, Haritoff and Hakimova, vice presidents of Kazan State Conservatory. During the meeting, President Jiang introduced the basic situation of Music College in HNU and conducted discussions in fields like cooperation in exchanges between teachers and students and Class of Art Masterin Russia.       

During the visit, Jiang Xinmiao was invited by Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory to deliver a speech as the guest on the opening ceremony of the Second International Olympic Musical Competition in Russia. Besides, during the competition, the delegation visited the students majored in musical performance of cooperative education between HNU and Russia.
