On March 6th, the delegation, including Germain Rousseau, co-director of International Office of Université de Tours François Rabelais, Alain Koeng, director of Student French Teaching Center, and Hans Stopka,representative of Region Centre of France in Hunan province paid a visit to HNU. Li Dazhi,vice president of HNU met with them.
Li Dazhi highly appreciated Université de Tours’ efforts in promoting the cooperation between both universities. He also enjoined every unit of HNU to work together, facilitating CFCRS (Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools) programs,Confucius Institutes, and other important foreign affairs, deepening the partnership between both universities and enhancing communication.
Relevant persons in charge from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Foreign Studies College, College of History and Culture conducted exchange and cooperation talks with the delegation.During the talks, the two sides looked back on their cooperation history, introduced the outlines of school running as well as the current situation and objectives of internationalization, and reached a consensus in the cooperative fields such as the establishment of CFCRS program and Confucius Institute. All participating units will actively take measures to further increase exchanges of students and staff as well as educational resources in both universities. The two sides will strengthen mutual exchanges and work together for common benefits.
