From April 23rd to 24th, the delegation of Saint Joseph’s Universityled by Vice President Cary Anderson visited HNU and was warmly received by Li Dazhi and Wang Shanping, both Vice President of HNU.
On the afternoon of April 23rd, Cary Anderson and HNU relevant persons in charge had a meeting in the office of the International Exchange and Cooperation. Both sides exchanged their ideas about “How to Strengthen the Exchange between Two Universities”, and discussed the “3+2” Program launched by the Business School of HNU and the “4+2” Program by Computer Science Department at the College of Information Science and Engineering of HNU.A consensus for future cooperation was finally reached.
All participants agreed on actively making efforts to promote the exchange and communication of teachers, students and educational resources between two universities.
On the morning of 24th, Li Dazhi accompanied Cary Anderson on the visit to Shuda College of HNU.
Li Dazhi said that HNU has been attaching great importance to its collaboration and exchange with American universities. HNU and Saint Joseph’s University have signed a General Agreement for Exchange and Cooperation and are developing specific cooperation programs.
Cary Anderson highly appreciated the closer tie between two universities and showed his willingness in greatly supporting HNU’s work and promoting the friendly relations between two countries and two universities.
Both sides also had a discussion about how to better establish a platform for cooperation and exchange and a platform in China to provide certain necessary services, as well as better carry out summer programs of practice and exchange.
