On the morning of January 10th, the Czech Educational Delegation visited HNU. Li Dazhi, Vice President of HNU, met with the guests at the International Exchange and Cooperation and gave them a warm reception. The meeting was chaired by Li Miao, Vice Director of International Exchange and Cooperation at HNU.

Ludek Hyncik, Director of the New Technologies Research Center at the University of West Bohemia, thanked HNU for its hospitality. He and delegates from College of Physical Education and Sport PALESTRA and Charles University in Prague gave introductions on the key disciplines and specialities and scientific research of their respective universities, and showed their willingness to cooperate with HNU.

Li Dazhi briefed the delegation on the history and basic information of HNU. He stated that under the Belt and Road Initiative and the Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Academic Degrees in Higher Education between China and Czech, the visit of the delegation was an important motivation for strengthening educational collaboration and cultural exchanges between two sides. He said that HNU would encourage its students to study in Czech and it would also welcome the students from three universities to study at HNU on the Belt and Road Initiative Scholarship and experience Chinese culture.

Participants then had a discussion about future exchanges, cooperations and other relevant issues.

Together with the delegation were Zhu Xisha, Deputy Director of General office of the Subcommittee of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs of Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and Wang Wanming, Chairman of Czech Silk Road Chamber of Commerce. Those responsible for the second-level unit of HNU also attended the meeting.
