Guests from Saint Joseph's University Visited HNU

On the morning of Nov.14th, Cary Anderson, vice president of Saint Joseph's University of the US visited HNU. He was warmly greeted by Jiang Xinmiao, vice president of HNU, in Conference Room 228 of Mulan Building. Tang Jianwen,director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, hosted the meeting.

Vice president Jiang extended a warm welcome to the guests from Saint Joseph's University. He concluded the recent years achievements in external exchanges of HNU and showed gratitude to Saint Joseph's University for the care and concern for our exchange students. He hoped that both schools will keep on expanding communication channels and enhance interaction in areas like teacher and student exchange, academic cooperation, resource sharing, etc.

Cary Anderson thanked the cordial hospitality of HNU. He briefed on Saint Joseph's University and hoped to further promote activities in student exchange, academic discussions, etc. in future exchange and cooperation between both sides.

The meeting focused on the discussion of visit programs of undergraduates and masters, cooperation in special education major, etc.

After the meeting, both sides reciprocated gifts and shot a group photo.

The guests also include Juan Julie Yu, dean of China Program Department in Saint Joseph's University. Present at the meeting were Zhong Yiping, president of College of Educational Science, Ouyang Gang, vice president of College of Physics and Information Science, and Zhang Jin, dean of Computer Department of College of Mathematics and Computer Science.
