In the afternoon of Oct.22, Mr. Li Daqing, director of Japan Chinese Innovation Association, visited Hunan Normal University. Li Min, Party secretary of HNU, met with him warmly in the Meeting Room 228 of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

Li Min, on behalf of HNU, extended a cordial welcome to Li Daqing. Then, he pointed out that this visit would prolong their friendship. In recent years, both sides have made a joint effort to provide teachers and students of HNU more accesses to study in Japan. In the future, they shall broaden the channel of overseas studying and encourage more exchanges.Different projects are available: short-term study for junior students, pursuing  master’s degree or working in Japan for graduates  and visiting or short-term training for teachers. HNU will speed up building the language training center, expand the major and employment channels and push forward the language skill test and exemption from public foreign language.What’s more, it is the same important to negotiate the further study for undergraduates in their last semester and promote exchanges with Japan and the international school.

Li Daqing introduced three kinds of cooperation between JCIA and Chinese universities: study in Japan for senior high school students and undergraduates respectively, and further study and employment for graduates. Then Li Daqing gave a detailed account of the three modes.

After the meeting, both sides reciprocated gifts.

The attendees also included, Tang Jianwen, director of the Office International Exchange and Cooperation, Tang Cunzhong, vice director of OIXC and Xiang Qing, director of Japanese Department.
